Lovely Schaar's Bluff in Dakota County's Spring Lake Park Reserve. If you haven't been there, you owe it to yourself. Park is open from 8 am to 10 pm.
In the winter you can cross-country ski to the cache.
So, it's not about the numbers, huh? Well, this cache will give you a chance to put your numbers where your mouth is. Take this 0.61 mile hike (one way) from the parking lot and prove it!
Get ready to go on a hike to the northern-most part of this fabulous park. The hike will take you along high rocky bluffs, through thick pine groves, along tall grassy meadows.
The container is just a large Lock 'N Lock that is barely hidden, filled with some pretty good swag. Please try to keep the quality of the swag up there. No used golf balls, please!
Remember, this one is about the hike, not the hide.
[Edit: This cache USED to be a bit of a hike, and rather remote. That was before Dakota "Forever Wild" Parks decided they had to dynamite 100+ year old cedar trees and ancient sandstone bluffs out to put in a blacktopped bike trail.]
