An ammo box which can hold both tradeables and travel bugs/geocoins. It is starting out with three interesting geocoins and two travel bugs, Goddard heading East and Gr8Sk8 west.
Park in the designated area and walk across the bridge, then enter the trails on the west side of the Wilmot Creek. Footing is good, but trails are thick and overgrown above the waist. You may have to elbow some burrs, goldenrod, and other large plants out of your way. The cache should be available in winter, but if there are spring floods, stay well away.
The cache is easily accessible from Highways 2 (east-west) and 115 (north). It is a very short distance from Highway 401 as well, and an excellent central location for dropping and picking up Bugs and Coins. Highway 401 travellers can exit that highway at Newcastle, Highway 35/115, or Liberty Street in Bowmanville, then proceed along Highway 2 to the parking area. The parking area will be busy only in the fishing season.
