dormitories. 1897-1907. It became public-Wadesboro Graded
School for grades 1-10. a new wing added and Central Elementary, 1922-1955. The original auditorium had been
sacrificed for classrooms. The building was converted to an
athletic field house with offices and dressing rooms and was
still being used in 1967. It was later demolished. The building had benefitted thousands of students.
