Welcome to a quiet park just begging for a cache. The listed coordinates are to the parking lot of the park which has a playground and lots of green grass for cachers that want to linger and play. The cache itself is nano, but it is not magnetic, so please leave all of the metal equipment alone.
History of the cache:
The original cache container was a camoed 35mm film canister Cache U and Sam_I_AM obtained during the 3rd Annual Valencia Fun Days. It's provided by Anne Bonney from her mother cache, Pak Y DurM, and the original cache was placed by Cache U and Sam_I_AM . This was baby cache container #4. Whenever a new little baby cache goes off into the world on its own, it should be given some advice. Hence, the kernel of truth for this cache can be found on the only memorial plaque in this park, which is located next to a tree on the grass.
Cache Container Update 9/26/14:
The cache container kept disappearing, so it's now been replaced with a slightly evil nano that my family gave me for my birthday (sorry!). The difficulty has been raised to reflect the change in container.
Solving the Puzzle:
Find it and note the following:
The number of letters in the first name + the letters in the last name of the person to whom this tree is dedicated = X.
The number of letters within the quotation = Y.
X + 27 = AB.
Y + 24 = CD.
The final cache coordinates are: N 35 11.3AB W 106 33.7CD.
