Geocache Description:

Located in Freedom Park on level terrain with parking. The cache is not located on the statues.

This cache is near (not on) the statues entitled "For Our Freedom" by artists Jesus and Adam Romo. This art is sponsored by The Art in Public Places Commission and will be dedicated November 11, 2007. This is a very moving remembrance that Freedom is Not Free and often the ultimate sacrifice must be paid.
Be sure to read the plaque of Abraham Lincoln's Letter to Mrs. Lydia Bixby.
Enjoy this nice area and the other caches near-by.

This cache is placed for the Greater Palm Springs Geocache Event #3 and will remain active and be maintained by tntc.
