The Bears of Cub Scout Pack 156 are working on their achievements for advancement.
Eight of these boys are the Bears. The others are siblings.
Hiking with the den fills one of the requirements. The hike to Eagle Rock is a nice challenge for 8 year old boys (and their leaders). As a bonus we hid this cache along the way. The container is filled with the usual kid-swag. We had a bit of trouble getting good coords but finally got them to about 20 feet. Don't read the hint unless you really need it.

Seven of the eight boys earned their Arrow of Light. The highest rank in Cub Scouts.

At least four of the eight boys (now men) have earned the Eagle award. The highest rank in Boy Scouts.
