A Little Scary Cache Traditional Cache
offline.cacher: The general rule reviewers use to archive a cache is that the cache owner has been notified (through a log entry) by the reviewer and that no response has been forthcoming. This is the case with this cache. As a result it has been archived.
If the owner would like to discuss this issue, please contact me through my geocaching.com profile. Include the GC code for the cache.

Cache is in Alum Spring Park, a great place for a nice walk. Check out the history, and enjoy the playground and picnic area!
You have to drive through water to get to the main parking area. There is also a small lot before the creek ford. Look for the Alum Spring Park sign.
The cache is in a clear plastic container with a screw top. We filled it with leftover trinkets from Halloween goody bags. Original contents are:
1. FTF: Two Pumpkin Patch scratch-off lottery tickets. (We had to roll them into tight scrolls to get them to fit in the container.)
2. plastic spider
3. orange and black gel bracelets
4. plastic eyeball
5. ghost finger puppet
6. bat ring
7. pumpkin mini-slinky
8. pumpkin pencil sharpener
How we got all that stuff to fit, I'll never know! We'd like to try and keep the "scary" theme going, so if you can leave Halloween favors, small Harry Potter-themed toys, scary animals like dinosaurs or dragons...you get the idea.
High Muggle activity, especially on weekends. Be careful of poison ivy during warmer months, it seems to like this park.
Park hours: M-F 8am-8pm; Weekends 10am-8pm.
Winter hours: 10am-5pm.
Make sure you hide the cache well when you're done, as the area does get a lot of foot traffic.
