Cache is near the road to Lower Salmon Lake high in the Sierras. Don't ask me why it is named Salmon, so far from a river.
This cache is dedicated to a fish/fishing theme. Leave some lures, take some hooks or bobbers. Swap a fish for a keychain etc. Cache is a short walk from the paved road about 8 feet off the usually closed dirt road to lower Salmon. Container is a round white can about 10 inches in diameter. My dad has been fishing these lakes for more than 65 years. Nice place with good memories.
This would be very tough to find with snow on the ground.
