Geocache Description:

DO NOT GO TO THE POSTED COORDINATES, it is a busy intersection and the cache is not there. Please solve the puzzle below to find the actual location, which is within a few miles.

Not too long ago, IC1 dedicated a challenging puzzle cache to us, FTF HOUND SERIES-Jay Kay El Em.
Hiding this cache is repaying our FTF HOUND debt in this series started by rsfish1. Here is the premise:

"We all know that there are just those cachers that always seem to be the lead dog and get to that cache just ahead of you. This series is dedicated to those cachers that are dedicated to keeping the rest of us from getting that coveted FTF. This series just has a few simple rules.

1. If a cache is placed with your name, then it would be nice if you place a cache with someone else’s name. This way someone else gets the FTF on a cache other then you!

2. If you beat someone else to the FTF on a cache with their name, then it would be nice if both of you place a cache in someone else’s name.

3. Please keep the title the same for all new caches released. Just change the cachers name when you place the new cache.

4. Please have fun with this. We are all out here to enjoy the outdoors and meet new people. But a little good natured ribbing and maybe a small story about this person is always enjoyed."

There are so many cachers on this side of town who seem to have the computer programmed to start the car remotely when a new cache gets published, it was a tough choice of worthy competitors. This dedication goes out to Team A.C.E./Sparkeeeee, who have beaten us to the punch many times. Just recently I (just Kay, left El and Em with Jay) had the privilege of being about 45 minutes behind them to a new cache in a complete downpour. Crazy cachers! Don't they know to come in out of the rain? Not when there is a new cache in the area! I'm not sure when I get there behind them and Sparkeeeee and the team are co-FTF-ing if I'm technically second or third to find, but it doesn't really matter, I'm usually in their dust! I've also enjoyed the team's hides particularly A.C.E.'s High, for cleverness and Just Ducky!, for the kids' reactions. Thanks for making west side caching fun!

This one's for you, Team A.C.E./Sparkeeeee! At the actual cache site an ammo box awaits you filled with cool theme oriented swag, including a special keychain for the FTF prize. There are also some trinkets for kids, but the last 20 feet or so of terrain is a little rough for very little ones.

UPDATE 5/21/08 EDITED TO ADD: PLEASE APPROACH THE FINAL LOCATION FROM THE TRAILHEAD, BUSHWACKING DIRECTLY FROM PARKING HAS ATTRACTED SOME ATTENTION FROM A NEARBY BUSINESS, PLEASE FIND TRAILHEAD BEFORE DIVING IN TO PROTECT THE LOCATION FROM MUGGLES. THANKS!
