The Coordinates will take you to the first Clue.
Allow 40min to an hour for this stroll. You may see whales on the way. Take binoculars. If the weather is good and you can brave the cold water for a swim, bring a towel and SPF cream.
Grotto beach is one of 18 Blue Flag beaches in South Africa. There are only 7 in the Western Cape. In order to attain a Blue Flag status, a beach must meet 29 criteria! Basically it must provide services to the community, have lifeguards and safety equipment, be clean with clean water, and have facilities like toilets.
Grotto Beach is named after the nearby caves at S 34 24.736 E 019 17.261, worth a quick look.
