Next Generation Multi-Cache
VerrueckteFrau: Well, I had some great ideas for how to keep a travelbug-suitable container going in this park, but couldn't find the materials to actually implement any of these ideas in the foreseeable future. So I am reluctantly archiving this cache to make room here for other people with creative ideas. I do hope that whoever places a cache here next will make it more than just a key holder under a park bench - this neat little park certainly deserves better than that.
Thank you all for visiting "Next Generation"!

I made this an offset cache to encourage you to hang out a little rather than doing just a quick cache'n'dash.
It seemed a bit unfair that downtown Arlington Heights has been getting all these new caches, and neighboring Mount Prospect none, so I decided to do something about that.
This cache is located in Moehling Park, which is one of my favorite little places to bike to in the summer - and just about everybody else's in the area, too ;) So if you are trying to find this cache during the warm season, utmost stealth will be required.
In the cold season you can find peace and quiet here, though, and should have no problems staying unobserved.
At the posted coordinates you will find the sculpture that the cache is named after (and of course the name came to be also because this place is a favorite with the next generation).
The cache is a quart-sized round container. It is located 40 feet away from the sculpture. But which way? The sculpture will help you figure that out!
There are 4 animals hidden in the sculpture. They are listed on the informational plaque next to the sculpture. Find the animals in the sculpture.
The cache is located 40' opposite of the third animal when you count clockwise from the boy.
So, if for example the 3rd animal is on the east side of the sculpture, you'd find the cache 40' west of it.
Important: There is no need to trample in any of the lovingly planted flowerbeds in order to find this cache!! Do not disturb the flowers or shrubs that are fenced in, please honor the people who take great care to plant and label them for your enjoyment and education.

This cache is dedicated to my 3-year-old son ("Silly Moose") who loves this place even more than I do, and who does not like geocaches without "treasure" (=micros).
