Geocache Description:



HO HO HO and SHALOM everybody!  It's that time of year again!  Time for us to get together and celebrate another year of friendships old and new, experiences and our mutual love of Geocaching.  This year, we will meet at the Golden Corral in North Dallas at 3312 Forest Lane on Saturday, December 8 from 8:30 until 10:30.  We will not meet in the private room, but we'll have a whole section to ourselves.  And due to the festivities planned, we may still be there for lunch!
 This year, in addition to the usual wealth of door prizes, we will have a special surprise for each and every person attending.  So when you log your "Will Attend", make sure you include the cache name and first name of everyone in your party.  Also this year, we will have a gift exchange for those who want to participate.  Bring a wrapped gift to "give" and you will get a ticket to "receive" a gift.  Please!  Nothing over $10!  The gift exchange will begin at 9:30 so don't arrive fashionably late if you want to participate!
 For those who were unable to make it to the breakfast in Ft. Worth back on November 10, we will have another question and answer session with persied88 and the rest of the Texas Challenge '08 crew after the festivities.  If you want to be on a committee or help in some way, this is your chance to make it known.
 There's a little something for everyone, so grab the elves (OK, your visiting in-laws too!) and come on down for some good ol' holiday celebrating!  Hope to see everyone there!



Update November 19 - We know that some of you have already "Will Attend"ed, but can you also let us know how many are of "Santa" age?


Update December 5 - There have been a couple of questions about the gift exchange.  We're going to keep it simple.  Here's how it will work.

1. Voluntary only.  You do not have to bring a gift.  There is a $10.00 limit.
2. Bring a WRAPPED gift suitable for either male or female.
3. Get a ticket for each gift you bring.
4. Around 9:30, we will begin drawing numbers.  You may pick any gift under the tree.
5. Then we will pick the next number.  This is not going to be one of those round robin gift exchanges.  We just don't have the time.
6. After everyone has picked a gift, then you may let the exchanging begin.
