Located in New Glarus Woods State Park, this cash was placed by Boy Scout Troop 243 as part of a geocaching campout. Located in a "No Hunting" area of the park, so it is safe year-round. We wore blaze orange just to be safe.
This is one of the caches in the Boy Scout Advancement series located in New Glarus Woods State Park. There are five 35 mm film canisters hidden, each representing one of the first five ranks of Boy Scouts, and each has a clue to the final cache, Eagle. Each cache is located within 20 feet of any trail, so there is no need to bushwack.
The six caches are:
Tenderfoot
Second Class
First Class
Star
Life
Eagle
Each cache originally had a pencil, but you may wish to bring your own just in case.
State of Wisconsin Form 2500-118, Geocache Placement Notification, has been submitted and approved.
