Geocache Description:

Don’t know the exact meaning of the word Carrizal. It is associated to reedbed. Also Carrizales is the name of one of the areas of Hatillo, and one of the greatest puertorican novelists, René Marquez (from Arecibo), used this area to locate one of his important novels: La Víspera del Hombre (“The Man’s Eve”).

This is a great novel, written by a man who had a great message for our society. This novel was very important for my life, and to what I am today.

The cache is located in Carrizales de Hatillo, very close to Arecibo limit. Close to a house that is part of the novel. Originally, it consisted of a small plastic (electrical tape) container, which content is: logsheet, FTF pin, Camuy Bicentenary Pin, Colombia keychain and Disney stickers.

First to Find: Congratulations to / Felicidades a: Flacopr!!!

Summer 2017 Update: Cache is micro... But the container is something special.... July 2022 Uñdat: Cache is an irregular micro. BYOP
