Geocache Description:

This cache and dash is located in the Dutch-Way Farm Market parking lot off Route 501, north of Schaefferstown, PA. Please bring your own pencil/pen.

Good’s is one of our favorite stores and it could become one of yours too. You will find your shopping or browsing experience almost perfect the staff is friendly and polite. Goode’s has that feeling of the way things use to be when the world was a simpler place. Some of the staff speak Pennsylvania Dutch. This should warm the hearts all of you Pennsylvania Dutch (“the forgotten minority…no national day marked on the calendar, no parades, no articles in newspaper extolling the contributions of the PA Dutch to American society and no Rose Garden photo opportunities with the President and famous PA Dutch personalities.”) geocachers. Since the Amish shop here, it is not unusual to hear Pennsylvania Dutch being spoken. If you are looking for a store that has an old day charm and feel, do not forget Good’s.
