I work up here at the top of Research Park and it's great to have these trails. I have a regular loop I walk for a 15 minute break and I thought another cache along the way was needed. Going up from the road take the trail by the Huntsman building then take a left after you cross the stream. You won't need to do much bushwhacking if you're taking the right trails.
Be careful getting the log out. Only remove the lid, don't take anything else apart or remove the cache from it's spot. And don't lose the lid! The first container lasted almost 9 years But #2 didn't do so well. We're on number 3 now and it's harder than the original.
Additional Note: The night I was hiding this there was a cougar sighting. I've seen coyote, deer, and loads of snakes around here...so watch out for the wildlife!
