The final cache contains half of the coordinates to the puzzle cache, Christchurch Conundrum. The distance between each of the waypoints is over a kilometer and the total distance you will need to travel from start to finish will be approximately 3km as the crow flies.
Part 1
Part 1 will take you to Westburn Reserve which features a cycle course with lots of different types of intersections for children to practice their cycle and signaling skills. You will need to answer the following questions to determine the coordinates of the next waypoint.
Update 10/8/2011: It appears that some of the signs located in the park have gone missing. The missing signs do not affect the cache, however and you should be able to calculate the coordinates of the second waypoint.
A Number of train track crossings (This is the number of actual crossings, not the signs for the crossing).
B Number of gravel surface warning signs
C Number of roundabouts
D Number of no turn signs (look for both left and right signs)
E Number of give way signs. This number does not include the give way to pedestrian signs. (Note that one of the signs may be missing. Rather than to change the clue only to have the sign replaced, make E=5 until the number of signs can be verified)
F Number of picnic tables in the park
G Number of benches in the park (do not include picnic tables)
