Do you know where your kids are? Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

-DeRock-: Greetings,

While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. This cache has been out of commission for a period of time exceeding what is reasonable. Since there has been no update with maintenance plans from the cache owner I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting. If not, please pick up any remaining pieces/parts of the cache before they become geolitter.

Thank you,

-DeRock-

Geocache Description:

2 stage multi. Final is a small peanut butter jar. Winter friendly.

Do you know where your kids are? They could be here …. smoking … drinking ….swearing….. touching …..telling dirty rotten nasty stories! Oh, the poor parents who think their little angel is at his buddies’ house playing checkers! Now that CritterLover and I have a teenager, we’ve contemplated how to keep him out of areas like this and still give him a fulfilling life.

We have some great ideas:

- Church youth group 5 nights a week!
- A reasonable curfew – 8:00 am to 3:30 pm should do. (hey, that just happens to line up with school hours – what a coincidence). Exceptions for church youth group, of course.
- The other 2 nights can be family crossword puzzle night. He should have a blast!
- We’ve got to let him have SOME fun outside. Supervised trash pickups in our local parks on Saturdays should provide hours of entertainment.
- We’ll provide many of our favorite books for him to read. The King James Bible, the Lutheran Revised Standard Bible, the New Age Bible … endless possibilities!
- A healthy body is a healthy mind. 6:00 am calisthenics are sure to be a hit!

Also, we could ….

What? I don’t believe it. My son just looked over my shoulder and told me that this would ruin his life! Okay, maybe he’s right. He’s a good kid so far. I guess we’ll just continue to love him, let him know we are always here for him, provide a good example, set reasonable boundaries, be aware of who his friends are, encourage healthy hobbies and activities and keep religion in his life. We’ll let God take care of the rest.
