Geocache Description:


The dog park, nearly 2 acres, is planned around the banks of a retention pond at Carolyn Meeker Park, a previously undeveloped county park on the south end of Lutz's old downtown. The park includes a small restroom building, a picnic shelter and chain-link fencing. The picnic area divides a 1-acre large dog area and a 0.6-acre small dog area, each with a dog-washing station and a "timeout" enclosure. It is one of the nicest dog parks we have visited and VERY busy. Onyx the geo-pup brings a whole new measure of fun into caching for Mrs Sleuth. She is a wonderful addition to our family and to the game of geo-caching. Onyx should be the poster-pup for rescue dogs!

Your best geo-cover is your geo-pup! The ammo can is filled with NEW toys for dogs, bring a trade so there is always something for the next geo-pup. The coords are as close as we could get due to tree cover but it's an easy find.
