What a Day, What a Beach, What a Dog Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

tangerineman: Gonna archive this one too. If the shore-construction's been finished, it's an awesome spot for a new cache. Anyone?

Geocache Description:

"What a day, what a beach, what a dog" - Ramblin' Jack Elliot, 1982, during an amazing performance at a downtown bar. As I walked along setting up the cache, this phrase just seemed to say it all.

This multi-cache will take you along an extraordinary, and little-used stretch of waterfront beach that in total runs about 5kms. You'll only have to go 2kms from your car to the final, however, with several stages along the way. You'll be looking for small containers, film canister, size, with the final being a mid-sized lock-and-lock.

If you keep walking past the final, you'll connect up with a fantastic paved path that continues east along the waterfront, and the one that goes north through Highland Creek Park.

I've popped the vera cool "Wish You Were Here" geocoin in the final.

You can find parking at 43 44.943N 79 11.380W. If that little parking lot is closed, there's parking on the street.
