MCPI stands for Madison County Points of Interest. There are many places in the county that have historical significance. A cache near one of these places can get you a smiley, and perhaps the area might be interesting and/or enlightening.
You can park just a few feet from the cache. From this parking spot, the namesake of the area is just about the same distance away - but in the opposite direction. Please re-hide the cache well, so it will not be accidentally found. A bit of CITO would help the immediate surroundings, but overall it's a nice area.
There may be times when people are present in the area or a service is in progress - if so, please come back another time. Be respectful of the area.
