Lake
Maungapapa
Sudoku
Puzzler

Lake Maungapapa
is located upstream from Lake McLaren on the Wairoa River system as
part of the Kaimai Hydropower hydro scheme. This lake provides good
trout fishing and canoeing opotunities, also has a loop track off
to the left that takes you approx 30mins to walk around to view a
nice large Rimu and Totara tree. A nice place to explore but keep a
watchful eye on youngsters.

Park and map.

You can check your answers for
this puzzle on
Geochecker.com.
The contents of
the .30cal ammo box when placed consist of logbook, pens,
stashnote, 2 Joe Satriani cds, 2 Steve Vai cds, Dennis booger dvd,
set of number punches, set of letter punches, ethernet cables, map
of Tauranga, etc.
Once onsite with
the co-ordinates, follow the lake edge on a old overgrown track to
the cache.
Enjoy but please
rehide it well...
If accessing via
Mclarens Falls Park, the gates are open - 7.30am and close - Winter
5.30pm / Summer 7.30pm, be careful not to get locked in, another
point of access is via MClarens Falls Road at the other end of the
park via the old entrance, however the gate at this end is always
locked and requires a small walk to get to the waypoint location.
Not really recomended after dusk to do cache.
