.50 Cal. Higbee: Stunted Trees & Sandy Trails Traditional Cache
Led Zeppole: Went out Saturday afternoon to recover the cache and archive it. A 15 minute search of GZ revealed nothing but a broken McToy and a couple of old golf balls so my assumption is the hide was muggled. Thanks to all who visited during the just over five years this was in the field.

Located in the Higbee's Beach WMA, Lower Twp., Cape May County, NJ.
Like the cache's name says, you are seeking a .50 cal. ammo can. There's plenty of room for large trinkets and TB's. There is an easy way to reach this cache and a hard way, too. I've got a feeling most people will take the hard way. Please note that the hike to this hide is entirely through soft sand, which can tire you quickly in the heat. In summer, be sure you are hydrated before you begin and bring a couple of bottles of water with you. Sun screen and bug spray will be helpful, too! Please leave the pencil sharpener in the cache; it is not a trade item. As with my other Higbee hides, if your idea of a great cache is a Wal-Mart parking lot micro, pass this by. Cache trivia: the ammo can you're looking for was formerly stage two of my now-archived "Hideaway In Galloway" multi in Atlantic County. Good luck!
