Just off beautiful El Mirage dry lakebed, among the Joshua trees. Best means of transportation: 4WD, ATV or Dirt Bike (in that order). Fairly flat access to the site. No Digging Required.
"2007 A El Mirage Odyssey" (Sort of like the (1968) movie 2001 A Space Odyssey, just 6 years late). Forget going to Mars GW Bush & Elon Musk, it all can be found here in SoCal.
I would recommend starting from middle of dry lakebed. Once you get to the edge of the lake and enter the brush, start playing the theme song from "2001 A Space Odyssey" by Alex North, you will see. Oh yeah you might want to watch the movie the night before (optional).
No digging required, watch out for broken glass. Bring well soled (protected) hiking shoes. Feel free to add any small "trail find" items or exchange a prize for a prize.
Don't fall into the pit of owl poo!
