A quick and easy Cache along the Quehanna Hwy. This food plot is
a good place to see Elk if you come at the right time of day. It’s
also a good place to see Turkey and Deer. Early morning and late
evening are the best times to see Elk. The Blue Blazes you will see
are the beginning of the Bellefonte Posse Trail which is part of
the Quehanna Trail System.
The Cache is a regular ammo box hidden in a typical manner.
However, because of tree cover, reception can be spotty at times.
Don’t be fooled by the obvious hiding place. You will be close
though. Do not bushwack from the parking lot. Follow established
roads and trails until you get close.
This is a hunting area and as always Orange should be worn
during the hunting seasons even though this Cache is in a well
traveled area not far off the road.
