Hurry before the snow gets here.
This was an impromptu cache. I have had this pill bottle with a log book in my car for months, waiting to find a perfect spot in town to leave it. I went to hang out with my father in law while he was hunting this last weekend. I didn't have time to check for caches in the area before I left, but my brother in law, who is a newbie cacher, had checked and nothing real close to the area. So being bored and waiting for the rain to stop I decided to place it here.
This is a very large meadow and you could drive your car to 5 feet of the cache. a real easy one as long as you get there before the snow hits in the winter. Although it is under a tree and with a 4X4 or snowmobile you might be able to find it. This is also a popular camp spot so might prove difficult in the summer. Watch out for cow pies and bear scat.
I realize this isn't a perfect cache container but I plan on being back in the spring to see how it stood up to the elements, and trade out the container.
If anyone knows what this was used for I am curious.
