Geocache Description:

This cache is located next to the Rappahannock Canal off of Green St. Ground is level and access is easy.

Dawnstar is my daughters caching name. She has been reading a series of books called the "Warriors" written by Erin Hunter. The books are fantasy novels about the lives of feral cats as they fight to survive in their forest homes. Beginning with the book "Into the Wild" sometimes called the Original Warriors. The second series is called the New Prophecy and the third series is the "Power of Three" There are other books associated with the Warriors series as well. Dawnstar is one of my daughters favorite feral cat characters in the series, so she took that name as her caching name. This is a great series for kids 9 to 13 .Link:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warriors_(novel_series) Dawnstar wanted to hide this cache at this location because there are many feral cats that live along the canal in this area. Her favorite is "Jade" She gave her that name because of her Jade color eyes. This cache has a cat theme and is filled with cat toys. Please try to keep the cat theme when you exchange items. There is a new compact LED flashlight with carrying case for the First To Find. Green St. is a one way street accessed from Fall Hill Ave. It connects Fall Hill Ave. with Maury St. which is also a one way street. There is parking on Green St. right next to cache. The cache is in an unusual camoflauged container. Good luck !
