St Margerets
Cache number 17 in the series is St Margerets in Hooley
The church dates back to the 12th century, but is substantially of the 13th century. The tower was added, or possible modified, in the 17th century, and the south transept, porch and north aisle are 19th century. The external walling is of flintwork with stone trimmings, in the form of quoins, window mullions, tracery, window surrounds, plinths, and parapets.
A very easy off set cache,there are a few parking spaces along side the church and its also very very close to GC16FP1 by Purple Pineapple so its find one get one free if you haven’t been here before.

The cache has a log book only plus micro certificates and hand made micro churches for the first few finders but no pen so please bring one with you.
