Geocache Description:

This multi-cache is devoted to the great state of West Virginia and its many Slogans. Located at Virginia Point Park in Kenova,WV. The cache is located in a network of trails in the park and also you can view three states here. This also helped KENOVA get its name.

This cache is in three 3 stages(2 micros and 1 Ammo Can) each named after a state slogan. The listed coords will take you to the first stage and then your on your own from there.

Note: please try to trade items in the WV theme.

1st Stage: Open For Business(Micro)

2nd Stage: Wild and Wonderful(Micro)

Final Stage: Almost Heaven(Ammo Can)

West Virginia is a state in the Appalachia / Upland South region of the United States. West Virginia broke away from Virginia during the American Civil War and was admitted to the Union as a separate state on June 20, 1863 (an anniversary now celebrated as West Virginia Day in the state). It is the only state formed as a direct result of the American Civil War. It is the only state to form by seceding from a pre-existing state. More Info on
