Team Lettice: We have been to have a look at GZ and can't find another safe hiding place since the recent works so we have decided to archive the cache. A big thank you must go to Team Marzipan who was the original owner of this cache.

Geocache Description:

Nice easy micro placed just outside the ancient site, now surrounded by modern buildings. Not much of the site remanins to be seen, I'm afraid.

Denbigh Friary

Established as a Carmelite friary.

A Carmelite house (the only one in Wales) established in 1289. The 13th century church is all that remains. For much of the 19th century the church was used as a malthouse.
Remains of the late thirteenth-century church survive.
