A multi stage hike along the banks of Etobicoke Creek leading to a small camo'd container. The hike is approx. 1.5 km. return.
The Edward L. Scarlett Park is a city owned greenbelt/floodplain purpose area. Enjoy the natural beauty of this area. Native trees, shrubs and wildflowers have been planted in this valley in support of naturalization. Conservation and enhancement of wildlife habitats in this valley are the goals of the partnerships between the City of Mississauga in cooperation with the Toronto Region Conservation Authority and Pratt & Whitney Canada. The coordinates posted are for Stage 1 where you will find a three digit number ABC prefaced by two letters. Divide ABC by 1000 and subtract from N 43 40.680 and W 079 39.929 to find Stage 2. Stage 2 is a small camo'd pillbox container with the coordinates for the final. The final is a small 250ml came'd container containing small trading items and a FTF's prize. Parking & Trailhead at N 43 40.316 W 079 38.904. The trail starts at the SouthEast corner of CourtneyPark Dr. E. & Netherhart Rd. and continues East and under the bridge.
