Traditional cache hidden at a very special spot just within the UAE
What is it that makes certain numbers more attractive? What makes this point on the globe more special than the one a meter next to it? Why have other travelers before us built little rock piles at this location to show where two straight lines, indicating full degrees: 25 and 56 cross on a map? Go find out and witness that, as you walk nearer to the cache, the decimal minute digits on your GPS slowly start building up or ticking off to that magical number 00.000’. Standing next to that spot it feels a bit like a magical place, especially as the sun sets on the western horizon coloring the rocks a bit redder still.
The cache, a standard plastic lunchbox hidden in a beige colored sack, is dedicated to the beauty of numbers. The ‘0’ indicating nothing, but also holding the essence of infinity (try dividing any number by zero!). The purity of ‘one’ and the closeness of ‘two’. Take a number and leave a number, but in any case sign the log!
To arrive at the cache site turn off towards Filli at the round-about on the Madam-Dhaid road at:

Continue on the asphalt road until the storm-water retention dam at:
N 25 00.268’
E055 59.006’
Follow a track running roughly parallel to the border fence in the wadi bed, easily drivable in a standard 2WD, until reaching within tens of metres from the cache site.
