Almost at the southernmost tip of Tenerife is a small extinct
volcano, also known locally with the English residents, Yellow
Mountain, which can easily be reached by car. Parking space is
adjacent to the Chasna Apartments and the path up the mountain can
be clearly seen. The 3.0 rating for the terrain is for the steep
climb to the top of the mountain and the further scramble up the
path to the top of the rim and over on to the seaward side where
the cache is located. Its worth while climbing to the top for some
great views.
Its now been upgraded to a 2lt box from the original in a camo
bag.
Please replace the cache exactly as you find it and make sure
you secure it in place with rocks so it doesn't get blown away.

Sur, Tenerife when i am not in Tenerife on our visits twice a year
