THIS CACHE IS NOT ACCESSIBLE FROM I69. The Charlotte exit (61) is the best if you are traveling on the Interstate. THIS CACHE HAS A DEFINITE DOG THEME. Our dog, Shadow, has had an influence on us. He complains that there are far too few caches with a dog theme. Thus we have set out one in honor of an upcoming Christmas visit from our son and daughter-in-law’s dog, Kiko. They will be coming all the way from Washington state. TO GET CREDIT FOR THIS FIND, YOU MUST DO ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: 1. Visit the cache with your dog and log his or her name on the website. (Pictures of the dog near the cache site would be very welcome.) 2. If you are passing through and don’t have a dog, go ahead and sign the log book, but when you log it online, you must post a picture of your dog that you left behind. (How could you leave your best friend behind when you go geocaching, especially to a dog friendly cache!) 3. If you don’t own a dog, borrow one for this cache. 4. If you don’t own a dog and no one will let you borrow one, post a picture of you petting a dog. 5. If you can’t do any of the above, then at least post online your favorite breed of dog. Any log without one of the above will be removed. Please remember to leave only items that relate to man’s best friend. If you want to leave a treat, make sure it is in the original wrapping. If you take something, leave something.
