Geocache Description:


With the PRICE OF GAS these days, we’re trying to be a little more selective about searching for caches that are far away from each other… Especially since our 12 PASSENGER FAMILY VAN gets 12 MILES TO THE GALLON… It’s the “epitome” of a “GAS GUZZLER”.

So, “IN HONOR” of the “Industry” that’s “GUZZLING OUR MONEY”… and trying to “SIPHON OUR PASSIONATE FUEL” for this “SPORT” we call “GEOCACHING”, we’ve decided to do a series of cashes that are “fairly close together”… that also give you the option to “shop around for the best price of gas” and “fill up your tank” while you’re caching.

THIS CACHE is the 3RD CACHE of a 5 CACHE SERIES. ALL of the caches are at “GAS STATIONS” on the Southside of Anderson.

Each container in this series is a “Magnetic Key Holder” with a LOG and “(1) TRACKABLE COIN” inside… As far as the “TRACKABLE COINS” go, we’d like for these caches to ALWAYS HAVE “(1) TRACKABLE COIN” in them… So if you “take (1) out”, PLEASE “put (1) in”… And if you “take (1) out”, PLEASE “log it” as soon as you can.

When you “SIGN and DATE the LOG”, we’d also like for you to WRITE DOWN THE PRICE of the REGULAR UNLEADED GAS on the log UNDERNEATH your name so the CACHERS THAT FIND IT AFTER YOU can see how much the GAS PRICES HAVE CHANGED.
