The cache is hidden in a sprawling, popular sports playground on the Western outskirts of Christchurch.
Giant pylons march across the park into the distant landscape. Gardens of different sizes have been planted with native trees and shrubs to soften the impact of these towering giants.
Beside a pathway leading to the cache at S 43° 30.677 E 172° 32.583 you will find three concrete pillars resting at odd angles. This was the site of "Where Giants March" The cache was archived when it was muggled for the third time.
This cache is hidden in a garden very close to two of those towering pylons. Beware those Giants may disturb your GPS.
If entering the park by car please note the gates are locked at dusk. You can enter the park by foot from several directions at any time of day. Bicycles are not permitted on grassed areas. The sports ground is particularly busy on Saturdays when sports are taking place.
The cache is a camo flat snaplock container. When hidden the cache had a stash note, log book, pencil, pencil sharpener a TB and 5 items to exchange.
