A little way off the coastal path between Crombie and Torryburn.
The village of Crombie lies on the A985 just west of Charleston. Crombie Point lies south-west of the village and in the 18th century was a busy harbour with ships loading iron and coal from the surrounding area.
Today Crombie Point is still used by the MOD. Parking can be found at N56 02.666 W003 33.246, although a no parking sign is in operation, people do park for short periods as long as the gates are not blocked. The Cache is a small lock container containing the usual swaps, a TB and is located on a circular route past the old Crombie Cemetry, which is no longer used and in a poor state of repair, but worth a look if just to see the age of the headstones.
