Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden in Fritz Park. The park closes at 10pm, so plan your arrival time accordingly.

This is #3 in a series we have started to pay tribute to the the local Geocaching Communities we meet and socialize with during our Excellent Cross Country Adventures.

As of August 21, 2007, we are officially retired. That was the day we closed on the sale of our Landscaping business in Knoxville, TN, and headed out to travel the country fulltime in our RV.

The containers in this series are all specially painted camo art ammo boxes which itchy, himself, designed and painted.

The Dallas Metro area was the 3rd stop along the way during 2007. We arrived in Dallas on Aug 1 and stayed until Oct 8. We met many cachers with whom we had only corresponded with via email and some we had known personally for a long time. They welcomed us with open arms and we are eternally grateful for their kind hospitality.

This cache is our way of thanking everyone in the Dallas area for treating us like family.

SPECIAL THANKS go out to MustangJoni for agreeing to be the local caretaker of this cache. She took the container out, shot the coords, and placed it for us.

Enjoy the area and the quest to find the cache!
