Geocache Description:

The cache is located on CR41. It in the middle of what was the town of BRYAN. The site is wheelchair accessible and a short distace from the gravel road. Road may be muddy if it rains. Road is maintained by UP RR and the county. Happy hunting.

This area was the central juncture of the railroad and South Pass. Daily supply wagons would leave the warehouse of Bryan and travel the 80 miles NE to South Pass, Wyoming. The town was founded in 1868 and boasted of a population of 5000 people. It had a 12 stall round-house for the steam engines and had 1 huge warehouse. When the gold bubble burst, all was moved from Bryan to what is now Green River, Wy. The town after that ceased to exist. Only the ghosts and spirits live here. Not much else. The cache is a Decon container and is only big enough for a few trade items. It started with a log, pencil, and a few porcupine toys.
