This cache was placed around beautiful Wyandotte County Lake, during the America Recycles Event. Attendance was more than expected, so some volunteered to go to another area. We intended to do likewise, but we left the the parking lot, after everyone else was gone. We looked for some time, but never found the group. Finally, it was decided that we must have passed them, so we drove in here to turn around. This is when the four of us, Judy & Larry739, hockabee, & I, choose this spot for our clean-up contribution. We quickly filled up our trash bags. Hockabee had some fun with the 2 fishermen in the area. They liked what we were doing with their favorite 'fishing spot', so they provided us a couple of more bags. We filled these also, with little effort. In less than an hour, we had filled several trash bags with litter. We felt good leaving this area, looking so much better than when we arrived. I doubt any of us will forget this fun, November day, anytime soon. We placed a small cache, to commemorate this day, in 'our' area. It contains a logbook,& some small trade items. Please rehide for the next cacher, & remember to CITO!
