Overlooking Lake Tekapo
The cache is beside a walkway. Several tracks and dirt roads lead to it from the main road through Tekapo, and it can be reached by 4WD on certain days when the refuse tip road is open.
Fantastic 360 degrees all round - be sure to take your camera.
The cache, a small green snap lock container, is under a rock and not visible. Initial contents are a number of goodies from other caches plus the travel bug "JD Dozer" which likes to be near construction sites so is doubtless enjoying all the Tekapo building activity.
