Jubilee Park: A river runs through it! (sort of) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

frozboz: I think the time has come for this one to say goodbye - I don't want cachers having difficult problems with the ever vigilant CW guards

Geocache Description:

A cache in a green haven in the midst of the Canary Wharf development.

Strongly suggest that cache recovery is *** not *** attempted during the weekday lunch hour.

Security cameras and mobile patrols around here. The cache location is reasonably screened from camera view as far as I can tell but bring the stealth kit.

Cache is smaller than a film canister but considerably larger than a nano (~60mm long, 13mm diameter).

Darkcity was FTF

Lots of care when extracting and replacing please to help this one survive.

This little park is part of the roof of the Canary Wharf Jubilee Line station. Needless to say, it is very popular with Office Workers at lunch time. Generally quiet evenings and weekends.

After letting the GPSr settle and over 300+ samples the average accuracy was reported as around 19' (but pls read on).

Bring a pen to sign just your initials and also to possibly help with extraction. Make sure that the log extractor gizmo gets correctly replaced and the cache goes back properly once you're done. Check the sight lines please.

I'm starting this off as a 2.5 difficulty and will adjust based on feed back - please feel free to comment in the log.

The buildings around here play games with GPSr reception. For the record here are other readings I've taken for the cache spot using a Garmin 60CS standing upright by itself
