There are several parking location available but the closest is off Hillside Rd using roadside/shoulder parking at coords below. This mine site is part of wildCat Ridge WMA witch boards the road at the trailhead. Uphill terrain past the mines to gz.
This ammo box sits in a area that overlooks the abandon Pardee and chester iron works mines. There is a quad trail that goes up the ridge and after that its a bushwhack to gz. The Chester mines were not as large as the Pardee but there are a couple of possible collapsed adits/tunnels in the area. Area does see hunting. Treequest
