A short walk from the parking lot to a small pond in the Cohotate Preserve.
The Cohotate Pond Cache is hidden in the Cohotate Preserve located between Athens and Catskill on Rte 385. There is a large parking area with a trailhead. Continue a short ways down the trail. There is a sign-in box with maps and interpretive guides to the preserve. Further down the trail there is a agroforestry display. The cache is located next to a small pond. The cache is a small round plastic container.
