Part of the Montville Heritage trail.
The Village Green is a unique feature of Montville, It was the first patch of scrub cleared as a conveniant yoking area with the bullock teams stopping here back in the old day, It is also a memorial for the local soilders who enlisted in the great war 1914-1919, six of whom did not return.
Lest we forget !!!
