A nice easy cache with wonderful views over the Dorset / Hampshire border.
Parking for the Cache is nearby at the base of the old Sandpit quarry. We recommend you climb up the sandpit for the lovely views, however wheelchairs and buggies can use the tarmac path on the right of the car park to make the slope to the top. The rim walk was always a favourite of ours when we first moved down here, with lots to see, safe in the knowledge that in the summer months there would be a paddle and an ice cream van back at the car.
The container is a clip lid sandwich box with lots of swaps in, so please help yourself!
Why not pop in and do GCQ2BK 'Ice-cream, paddling and ducks' micro on your way back, and the Alice Lyle pub is always good for light refreshment.
