WELCOME TO SNOW FLAKE LAKE! Come along for the sweetest of all adventures.
This cache is named after our favorite board game: Candy Land: http://www.hasbro.com/games/preschool-games/candyland/
In front of the art museum is Snow Flake Lake. This cache is not too far from there. Come along-- maybe you'll see Princess Frostine gliding across the lake!
We are a family of 4 with 2 small children.
Our goal is to provide as many kid-friendly caches as we can. These caches are designed for kids in mind-- easy terrain, short walks, relatively easy to find, and plenty of toys and goodies. And maybe fun stuff for adults too (we're all kids at heart, right?).
You are looking for a 2 pound coffee can, covered in camo tape.
Parking close by, then a short walk around the museum--not too far from the lake. (careful crossing the driveway!)
PLEASE REPLACE THE CACHE WHERE YOU FOUND IT.
I-85 isn't too far away, and the cache is on the way to Auburn University's campus. This is an excellent spot for travel bugs. Feel free to stop on your way to AU, Atlanta, or Montgomery!
