Geocache Description:

The Bradford Ranger Station is located at the intersection of Route 321 and Route 59 in the Allegheny National Forest. Parking for the cache is located here. The terrain is a 3 due to having to cross the road and a large ditch.

The geocache hidden at the posted coordinates is a regular geocache, however, it is also part of the Allegheny GeoTrail (AGT), a publicly funded project designed to promote a pleasant and positive experience and image of the Allegheny National Forest region and its gateway communities. The AGT utilizes the growing interest in geocaching to assist both residents and visitors to the area in learning more about the unique attractions in the ten participating counties. This cache contains a unique self inking rubber stamp which you should use to stamp your Allegheny GeoTrail Passport to verify that you found it. When you have found a minimum of six AGT caches, you will be eligible to have your AGT passport validated and receive a commemorative AGT trackable geocoin at participating locations. You must have your official AGT passport with you when you find this cache in order to stamp it. Click on the Allegheny GeoTrail Logo below to visit the AGT website at www.alleghenygeotrail.com for complete details and a listing of participating locations where you may pick up and validate AGT passports to receive your souvenir geocoin, trackable at www.geocaching.com .

Tourist information is available and a 24-hour information kiosk can be found here with maps for all of the trailheads in the ANF. Find the caches you haven't found and get permission to place new ones!

PLEASE REHIDE THE CACHE EXACTLY AS YOU FOUND IT TO PREVENT IT FROM BEING MUGGLED. Good luck and Have fun!!

Update 6/19/08: This cache was originally in the entry way of the Ranger Station and was Handicapped Accessible. We had to move this cache due people not reading the cache page and going into areas at the Ranger Station that they should not have as well as crawling under the deck . Unfortunately, I was not able to find another handicapped accessible area that they would permit me to place this. Please be sure to always read the cache page before locating caches, know your terrain levels, and respect property at all times. We want everyone to continue enjoying the hunt and for people to continue to allow us to place caches on their property
