Slightly off the trail in the area of the big rock. Terrain is not too tough. A good family cache.
If you visit Thompson Park, you should probably see the big rock. That area was the focus for this cache.
When I was in middle school and high school, I ran cross country meets here in the park. So we placed a cache here because it holds many great memories for me.
When we placed the cache, we got to see two deer nearby. Hopefully you will get to see some wildlife also.
You are looking for an ammo case with a log book and some trades.
