The first NH confirmation of Eastern Coyote was right here in Springfield. Watch for their tracks. This marsh is owned by the NH Fish and Game Department and is listed as a wildlife management area. Remember Cache In Trash Out. In the warmer weather bring your kayak or canoe for an awesome day spent on this nearly 90 acre marsh. You will see mergansers, wood ducks, osprey and the occasional eagle to name a few. In the winter bring your cross country ski's for a trip across the marsh. Snowshoes are a good idea to find the cache. Don't be surprised to see moose or deer while hunting for the cache. There should be plenty of parking at the dam. Enjoy!
